Warm, dry start to weekend; possible storm for Thanksgiving

Warm temperatures and clear skies are being felt throughout Long Island today, but there could be a storm with possible heavy rain for Thanksgiving next week.

Saturday will feature highs near 60 degrees.
Some clouds will roll in Saturday night as temps drop to lows around 40.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy and slightly cooler, with highs around 52 degrees. Expect a chance of light showers by the evening and at night.
Monday should also feature some light rain, but it will clear later in the day. Highs will reach near 60 again, but overnight lows will dip into the high-30s.
Cooler temps return Tuesday, as things will be mostly sunny, but highs may only reach the upper-40s.
News 12 meteorologists are watching a strong storm with gusty winds and moderate to possible heavy rain that could affect the area late Wednesday into Thursday.
Right now, Thanksgiving looks wet and mild with highs near 50 degrees. Showers are expected to taper off by late in the day.
